WASHINGTON, DC — July 22, 2025 — The Chief DC Clubhouse was filled with wisdom, connection, and possibility as women leaders from across generations gathered for “Resilient Women, Rising Together,” an interactive workshop co-hosted by Lucy Chen, speaker, author, and founder of Gifted Coaching, and Alexian Wines, Chief Operating Officer of Bower Group Asia.
The evening offered a rare opportunity for established leaders and rising changemakers to sit side by side, sharing tools, stories, and perspectives on resilient leadership in a rapidly changing world.
Highlights included:
Honest reflections on navigating change and challenge.
Mentors and mentees exchanging lessons and leadership strategies.
Interactive breakout sessions that encouraged deep, real conversations.
A special moment where Chen shared stories from her book Build Resilience: Live, Learn, and Lead.
Participants left inspired by the vulnerability and strength in the room. Chen reflected: “When resilient women come together across generations, we don’t just share wisdom—we create possibility. The ripple effect of this evening will carry into boardrooms, communities, and the next generation of leaders.”
The event was strengthened by the contributions of attendees who brought their voices and experiences into the dialogue, including Farrah Meisel Toobin, Sarah Richardson, Deborah Porter, Gina Worthey, Mina Moradi, Nydia Ngiow, Christine Moritz, Julia Parker, Porsha Eden, Judin Sukri, and Maggie Ding.
