SAN FRANCISCO, CA — June 5, 2025 — On June 5th, Lucy Chen, award-winning author and founder of Gifted Coaching, joined forces with Dr. Angela Jackson, Harvard University lecturer and author of The Win-Win Workplace, for an engaging evening at the San Francisco Chief Clubhouse: The Power of Resilient Leadership & Thriving Workplaces – Book Signing & Chat

Hosted by Chief, this intimate gathering brought together mission-driven women leaders, executives, and community builders to explore how resilient leadership and empowered teams can create workplaces where both people and performance flourish. The conversation, moderated by Chief member Manjit Basi, highlighted the pivotal role of well-being, courage, and vision in navigating uncertainty and driving sustainable success.

Empowering Insights and Authentic Connection

Throughout the evening, Chen shared key lessons from her book Build Resilience: Live, Learn, and Lead, offering practical strategies for rising through adversity and leading with purpose. Dr. Jackson expanded on themes from her newly released The Win-Win Workplace, emphasizing how employee well-being is a strategic advantage that drives organizational excellence.

Attendees were invited to participate in an open Q&A, fostering honest dialogue around leadership challenges, vulnerability, and community support. The event concluded with a book giveaway and signing, giving guests an one-on-one opportunity to connect with the authors and continue building networks rooted in resilience.
